THSR Tainan Fun Pass
Since this July, THSR(Taiwan High Speed Rail) launched several Passes with ibon ticketing system, including Kenting Pass, Sun moon lake Pass and Tainan Fun Pass. You can book your THSR ticket online and the pass on the website of ibon.
In each Pass, THSR offers least 25% discount off fare and shuttle bus ticket, which is absolutely affordable for travelers.
Among Passes, there are 2 ideal Passes for those who are coming to Tainan. One is THSR Pass with Tainan Fun Pass, and the other is THSR Pass with Line 88/99 shuttle Pass. Both of them cost NT$2,520(Taipei-Tainan). The difference is the transportation they offer in the city.
Unlike Taipei city with well developed MRT and bus system, Tainan offers few options to travel around the downtown. Therefore, the transportation you choose matters as a traveler.
